John Michael Talbot, a Catholic recording artist and founder of the Catholic Association of Musicians, will be performing at the Meyer Theatre in Green Bay on Friday, September 2. As part of his concert, he includes a local choir, usually assembled and directed by a music director from a local parish. I’m fortunate to be singing tenor in this choir! We’ll be performing the following eight songs with John Michael in the concert:

• God Alone Is Enough
• Come Worship the Lord (Psalm 95)
• City of God
• One Body In Christ
• Spread the Good News
• Holy Is His Name (Magnificat)
• I Surrender/St. Theresa’s Prayer
• Come Home

Our first rehearsal was tonight at St. Edward & Isadore church in Flintville and it went well. I can’t wait for the next rehearsal, and ultimately for concert night. The music is awesome.

I am very grateful to God for my musical talent, and even more so for blessing my three daughters with their own flavor of musical talent. “God alone is enough, whoever has God wants for nothing at all.”
