Last year, I wrote in this blog about CNN Pipeline, an online news service supported by paid subscriptions. It’s been a godsend! Well, the folks at CNN have determined that their subscriber base is not large enough to continue the service. So, it’s gone.

However, in its place is CNN Video. This is even better. Like Pipline, it allows me to create my own news broadcast, made up of only stories in which I have interest. Best of all, this news service is free.
